Evening Guild Rats,
Another exciting Friday night.
Tonight I’m off to volunteer at the Rugby, so I’ll be freezing my nips off while you’re reading this! (Hope you somewhere warm)
In bookish life, I’m working my butt off because I’m hurrying to get my WIP ready for March and the deadline for submission to Author Mentor Match.
If you don’t know what Author Mentor Match, it’s a programme set up by published YA author Alexa Donne and others who look after prospective YA and MG authors to pair them up with published author to get them agent query ready and help them on their way to their author goals!
You can find out more at: http://authormentormatch.com/
So that’s got me REEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY busy and stressing as the first draft is about 80% complete. Hoping to get it finished before end of January and can edit it in February so ready to submit before the deadline of March 5th!
Phew!…… I’m tired just keeping up with that!!
I hope your 2019 is off to a bang itself?
Keep up whatever you are trying! I believe in you 🙂
You can also check out Alexa’s website and youtube channel where i found out about AMM.
She’s a wonderful author and has an amazing social media presence full of useful advice and realistic author talks that discuss expectations and the reality of being a published author.
Until next time, keep out of trouble… if you can?
