Hello and holy moley!
Has another year just flown by or what? Seriously, how quickly did 2019 fly past?
Well… time to strap yourself in and prepare for 2020!
A new year means its a perfect time to set some goals and shake things up a bit and that’s exactly what I’m planning on doing!
I’m sure you’re thinking of doing it too so maybe you’d like to set a comment to your goals down below? Whatever it is, let me know and let’s support one another! 😀
2020 WRITING/LIFE/HAPPINESS Goals
- Simplify things – So I’m probably the worst at this and i don;t know if you do this too, but I am always trying to keep myself busy, and always jumping from one project to another like a magpie, obsessed with my latest shiny project and leaving stuff half finished…. not in 2020! I’ll be working on 1 writing project and I’ll be working on it solely to maximize the potential of getting it published. I’ll also be scaling down the website so I can be more consistent with my posts! (I hope haha)
- Eat healthier and be more active – So I dropped off my usual fitness bandwagon hard in 2019. Moving to a new city I dropped the gym and playing football in favor of… nothing? Harsh reality but true. I need to get back to my healthiest in 2017.
- Spend more time with family and friends – Simple mission for this. If they are important to me then I want to maximise my time seeing them. Too many missed opportunities in 2019 that I don;t want to repeat in 2020.
- And the big one…. GET A LITERARY AGENT IN 2020!!!! – Okay, I know that I actually have very little influence on this apart from writing the best manuscript I can… after that, well, it’s out of my hands. I’ll give it 150% and apart from that I can;t be upset.
If I follow the above goals then I hope to come out of 2020 with a bit more of a perk than 2019. I wouldn’t say it;s been a bad year… more disappointing than bad. Missed opportunities like I said. However, I’ve put myself in a strong position for 2020 already and lining up a stronger and more positive vision for the coming year that I intend to have stick so… here goes!
Well, that about wraps it up from me in 2019.
I want to wish all those who have supported me, in the past year and forever that I wish you all the best for 2020 yourselves.
I love you all.
Thank you.
And happy new year!
